ILENE BELLOVIN | MIXED MEDIA AND COLLAGE

My art practice is a natural and personal extension of my professional work in photography and art research for books, magazines, film and museums. The collage form allows me to combine a love of gathered imagery with traditional art media. 

At the School of Visual Arts, I earned a BFA in Painting. There I studied under many of the leading conceptual and minimalist artists of the time and interned at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

I have been a member of Mamaroneck Artist Guild since 2017.
